In recent months something new has been appearing on curbsides across St. Louis, and the changes give insight into larger trends across the country. The St. Louis Post-Dispatch reports that large, 64-Gallon bins are being deployed in a number of communities across the city in a single-stream recycling campaign that aims to improve recovery rates.

A conference call last September by UMH Properties is uncanny in predicting what might happen to the broader housing market. The call talks about bad underwriting and what an opportunity it means for investors in manufactured housing. Occupancy rates are up in parks, too, and FHA bills would lower finance costs for borrowers. Good news.

Governor Corzine is quoted today as saying: I think it is absolutely essential that we get our fiscal house in order Indeed, New Jersey does need to get its house in order.
